After sleeping for an average of 4 hours daily from 25th March till 29th March, I continued with the busy schedule of going for a workshop arranged by the company. It is boring and I can see some of my ex co-workers find themselves not able to fit the outside world after working for the company for many years.

I dragged myself to airport and 2 friends sent me there on April 1 (Wednesday). It is the second time I am on business trip and flying alone. Lots of thoughts on mind, thinking about alot of things, work, personal and time I flown off with someone special beside me to Japan.

Personally I feel that I do not have time to think about alot of things in my life, except when I am on air, flying off to another country. I do not know why is it this way, but I have an explanation for this which I hope you do not fall off the chair when you read it.....Well...it is because when we are "high Up", our mind is off the "ground"...so can think of things more clearly...hahaha....ok....dun bash me...

April 1 (Night flight to Penang), I am tired and before I enter the gate, my colleague called me and told me one penang colleague and himself will pick me up from airport, I am happy of course as even I have been to Malaysia numberous time, my malay sucks big time. But of course I can just book a cab from airport to bring me the G hotel which I have been staying for a week.

Met David finally in person after 2 years on call only. I have seen his photo and I can recognise him once I am out of immigration. Met up with another colleague whom is taking over my manager in HK, I will call him Goo (read as GOOgle)...

In less than 5 mins, Goo and myself started to talk about a lot of things. Maybe he is a sales person previously, maybe I am comfortable with him or it is fate for me to meet this person in my life. Initially I do not want to come over to Penang cos I do not find the food fancinating at all, so how I can survive here? Of cos another reason is that it is so so boring here and here for training, meaning lots of work to do.

In fact, I am wrong cos with local bringing David and myself around, I got to eat many nice food in Penang and they are really very very nice. Most of them are in those small lanes and not those in Gurney hawker or tourist places.

My favourite Penang food is Hokkein mee with roast pork and pork rib. I took 2 bowl of it. It cost me RM$5.70 per bowl

This is me after eating the second bowl and how happy I look like.

But I was sick from Sunday till Monday. I was actually not feeling well on friday, but I still go karaoke till early morning, coming 4am. 10.15pm on friday, till sat morning.

Went Kek lok Si temple nearby Air Itam for more than 3 hours. Feel very peaceful when I was there. Night activities are swimming at Goo's place, food, food and food...David finally see my power on the amount of food I can eat in less than 1 hour. After 2 bowls of hokkein mee, we went to another place near our hotel to have BBQ chicken wings, which I think I took 5 or 6 out of 10 ordered while waiting for the famous stingray (bean sauce type) which open at 10.30pm only. We waited for more than an hour I think before we get our stingray. It is nice and I do not mind going back to have it if I have a chance. This cost RM$15.00

This trip, I get to know David more and also get to know a friend whom is as crazy as me although he erm...look more mature than me but younger to me in term of age...wahahhaa...

The combination of a honest and quiet person like david, and 2 crazy person obviously make our weekend a very enjoyable one. No matter how tired david whom got to do work during weekend, I think he does enjoy himself very much. He repeatly told me on many occasions that he is tired yet very happy to know us here. Of course our meet up is a weird one cos we only get to meet after 2 years and the reason is that I have to be in Penang to do training due to the lay off.

Tonight I am flying back, leaving my new friend in Penang and HK behind and hope our friendship will blossom.
