My best friend is very frustrated since last night as so many people owe him $$. Many people in this world after loaning $$ are no longer friends.

This person is actually my neighbourhood and secondary school senior. He actually get a loan from me more than 3 years ago. Around $1.3k. More than 2 years ago, he actually asked my best friend to loan him $1k due to some financial problem he is facing. Until now, he did not make any arrangement to try return on installment. I actually feel very bad and wanted to return on behalf of him the money to my best friend, but best friend rejected.

My best friend finally got him and he promised to pay $50 to $100 per month. I am thinking if I should go pressure him also. Anyway, when this so call friend of mine strike ToTo many years back, $60k, YES!! That's the amount!! But he never once call me out to treat me or share with me the joy as I have been paying when we were out with a group of friends. He spent all the money to pay off his debts and now he is in debt again.

Anyway, I have learnt to differentiate myself from real friends and "hi bye" friends. So I will not have a "soft spot" in my heart for those whom only use me when needed. I am now currently very firm on my decisions on matters which involve $$, especially the recent person whom owe me $200 for a year plus. Somemore can still ignore my sms or what is the plan for repayment in person.
