Fabulous Start of the first working day of 2008
First day of work started with a nice lunch treat from one of my colleagues whom promoted to a Director. East Ocean Restaurant is known for serving nice tim sum which starts on 11.30am to 2.30pm (ala-carte) and today we ate a set lunch with shark fin and abalones!! It is really nice but it is even nicer to be sitting beside my lunch buddies, which one of them is definitely weird as he dun eat almost all... CJ and I actually had plan to go to Brickswork Hawker (Aka ABC hawker) for dinner, but Miss Kwek gave us the most disappointing reply "Sorry, I had to meet my friend as....sad" to spoil our evening. Well, why is it so disappointing is that CJ and I definitely know that with JM around, we can order more varieties of food due to easy going CJ whom basicall is very "easy with food. Therefore while travelling in CJ's car, while deciding to eat at ABC hawker or go to hawker near my place to eat, I sms Joo this "We also very sad as we cannot order more food. No variety!"

Stingray is nice. Cost $8.00.
The fried rice is definitely very nice as it got the "wok taste". A must try home cooked style. A stall on the third level of the hawker. Between a fruit stall and the stingray stall. Aunt is a chubby and uncle is a slim guy. Simple menu on the stall and the price is fixed.
CJ find this very nice and he ate quite a lot of them, but eventually I got to finish them all because someone is not joining us for dinner *roll eyes*
Fried Kang Kong is nicely cooked, but we cannot finish...who to blame????? Vegetable eater not around. The above 3 dishes cost $16.00
We moved to 2nd level of the hawker initially wanted to have just cheng teng, but I ordered rojak with all "you tiao" and it only costs $2.00. CJ keep saying he is very full, but he cannot resist the rojak, especially prepare by the uncle and frankly speaking, that aunt's skill is not there lor....
Cold cheng teng cost $1.20 and it is very nice with 2 longan, some grass jelly, barley and ice of cos...haha...very nice dinner but definitely cannot eat like this everyday....
