Today I am working from home and I am seriously feeling very unhappy about the new upgraded system!! I worked till like coming 1.30am this morning, only to find most of my time is waiting for the system to generate, time out and refresh....

Anyway, interesting chat with interesting person today...I present to you CJ again..before you read on, you must understand that I was asking about Joo as she is not in office today, I suppose she is sick...and enjoy below chat.

Ken :yup, my last message is about Doris mah..

CJ :dorish here mah

Ken: i know...but she is not on IM and i cannot chat with her.......faint...

CJ: work related? if yes, then I just shout to her, else privately tell her

Ken :faint...u become her secretary ar? u call her ext, 2xxxx and whisper, "Ken say your IM is not on

CJ: ok (2 mins later) y not email her? Doris is busy talking to xxx and xxx and I cannot interrupt her.

I sent an email to my boss and she was asking me any special reasons that I need to work from home.

My reply below:

In office, whenever the system is slow or having time out, I will walk away from my seat. Others may find me doing nothing.

Working from home, no matter how frustrated I am, I am in my own room, and I will have my own sound system to calm me down.

Sorry if this is causing a lot of problem, but I am feeling very upset about this upgrade. I feel it is more productive when home as I can just work and no need to go out for lunch. I can have my lunch, while working and replying emails.

During early Nov, when my whole family is out for holiday for a week, I might need to ask for your approval to work from home randomly as my maid is alone at home. I need to spot check on her to make sure she is not bringing in strangers to the house. I will seek your approval when the time come.

I know I sound very direct but I am not feeling any good about things! Anyway, I just want to be ahead on my job as this is how I work...

Recently, CJ bought Imac and I told him I got Macbook at home...then someone was adding that now so many "I" hor...like Iphone, Ipod....then I say I do not have any of those, but maybe one day "IQUIT"....erm...there was a total silence..then everyone bursted in laughter....(I think I am seriously unhappy with the new system)
