Shutter

Cast: Joshua Jackson, Rachael Taylor, David Denman

Director: Masayuki Ochiai

This movie is originally from Thailand. I decided to walk in the cinema to watch the re-make of this movie due to "boreness" and to "spice" up the night a bit after a stressful day.

9.30pm show and with HSBC credit card (Mon to Wed) with S$1.00 off, the ticket still cost S$7.00 as today is the sneak preview at golden village.

After my experience watching "The eye" re-make few weeks back, I am certain that this is not going to be as scary as the original, which I am quite right, but this is better than re-mark of"The eye".

After a horrible accident during honeymoon, a pair of newlyweds sees evidence of a supernatural presence in their photos. Strange things starts to occur to the wife (Rachael Taylor) as she is experiencing strange encounters and photos. Movie is around 90 mins with some frightening scenes, which will cause some ladies screaming here and there...

For those whom had watched the original will find this re-make moderate or satisfactory. The only thing which is value for money in my personal opinion is that I get to see Mount fuji and Japan scenes, building, train and land mark. For those whom had not been to Japan, maybe can watch this movie for some scary effects and treat it as a "warm up" before physically visiting Japan :)
