I always tell my friends around me that I hate CNY especially this year!! My new maid is definitely a disaster. My mum asked me to ask my sister in laws back to help to prepare food for tomorrow reunion, and obviously everyone has their own errands to run before they can come over.

My youngest genius brother suggested "aiya, no need to prepare steamboat lah, order KFC and pizza, but have to order early"

I explained to him that mum always will make an effort to make sure everyone in the family to enjoy the reunion dinner. If not that she has to go work part time and the company scheduled her to work till closing, then give "year end" ang pow, she would not go.

Anyway, I have to be involved with everything in the family, make decision or arrange for things to be done! No one seems to understand how mum actually do a lot of things to make sure fresh seafood are purchased, sufficient ingredient to cook during CNY. Tonight will be the last chance to buy anything from the market as it will be closed till next week. My poor mum will be busy rushing to buy stuff.

Sometimes I really wonder how come some people just can relax or not even pay attention to what kind of effort their loved ones actually put in to make sure nice, hot and delicious food are placed on the table for consumption...

I know I cannot rely on anyone to share my frustrations on the maid issue, CNY arrangement, work and plenty of other things in my life. Not even you whom I thought you will be always there for me for anything!!

This CNY, I am going to pray for the health of my parents, family, friends and myself and hope everything is smooth sailing! May all the good luck be with us!!

Of course, I will have to depend on myself on everything and not going to rely for some "invisible" people whom is always not here when I needed your advices or lending ears!!
